I bought a Gmac custom multi shot breech and measures on my calipers 10.9mm. Ive tried 2 set of generic dovetail 2 bolt scope rings and it doesn't clamp tight enough. The rings shift with a slight bump. I even flipped the clamp, same problem. I ordered UTG and same thing.

My guess is the rail is undersized. So how does one shim a set of dovetail rings to clamp better?

Thanks

I've never tried with a scope mount however when I need to shim a machine parts I've successfully used aluminum foil. Several layers if need be.
