Hello all. Just join the forum. Getting into shooting air rifles with my daughter. She is taking marksmanship in cadets so I figured this could be something we can do together as a family.

What is the best and closest indoor range?

Welcome

Atlantic Marksman Association is the closest indoor range and club to HRM ( Its located in and around Prince Albert School). But its comes with a hefty fee of 300$ for Adults for the first year and 200$ for the next. They do Airgun shoots on Monday, mainly 10M shooting. Its a 20M indoor range. I haven't been a member in about 8 years.

Hello & welcome :)

The closest indoor one to you might be the one by Gaston Rd: Atlantic Marksmen Association.

^^AMC ^^I believe used to have one designated day for Airguns although not sure PAL rated or not.

When/if joining a club .. be prepared to pay annual fee etc. Other things to consider - what times they are open, exactly what you can shoot (some may not allow AG others don't allow sidearms including air pistols) If they have onsite live instructor/safety marshall - some ranges do not!

Good to see more people into this hobby..great place here for info & talented people.
Halifax (ex DND) here & wife is into AG as well, so if you ever need input/assistance etc. I will certainly do my best.

I shot 50 AE Desert Eagle, 44 Mag, 357's at that range. I'm sure it can handle pal rated airguns, being most barely has the power of a 22 CB.

I was a member of AMA from 16 years old till I was 24. Only RSO have access to the range so if they're not there, range doesn't open. But from my experience they prefer the indoor range, then outdoors. So expect it open when the times/date says.

Monday 7:00pm to 9:00pm Air Gun

But they do got a good Jr program there. I like the club, I like the ranges. I just did not like not having the freedom of going when I feel like it. That I do with my club in the Valley.

Nova Tactical at Better Buy Sports is suppose to be opening up a indoor range but expect it to be costly as well.

Welcome from Pugwash, N.S. If your daughter is in cadets you will probably be shooting the 853C single stroke pneumatic with peep sights.
