Going to tear into my maximus tonight.
Work it over with a good clean up and trigger tune and internal polish
Are there any parts anyone needs some clear photos of?
Any one else do this to a maximus and have any tips to not overlook?
Thanks all.

I just polished my hammer and installed a trigger kit. Tapped one hole for a Gmac multi shot breech.

Really interested in that breech.
What trigger kit did you use?

I really wish I got the hunter model. Trigger was a Alliance Hobby one for a 2260/Disco. Same trigger mech as a Maximus and the multi shot breech I needed to tap one hole.

Trying to play with a 18" barrel. But everything on hold being I bought a house.

Did the 2 screw trigger mod, polished all the contact points in the trigger group plus moly and took a little preload out of the hairpin spring. Trigger is about acceptable. Oh I also put a much weaker spring on the trigger (pretty much did all the stuff in Bobs trigger Wright up less the 3rd screw)
That factory trigger spring though....anyone need a pal rated spring for a Springer? Haha.
Will be polishing up the hammer and giving it a moly treatment this eve. As well as take a look at the crown and treat acordingly.
