Hey, I resurrected a older thread, my apologies. I'm just getting back into air gunning, I have a tuned up at44, I'm a bit tired of pumping it up. So I'm looking to get a Springer or gas ram that will get me into the 900 plus fps, into the 27 - 30 ft lbs area. Any help will be greatly appreciated, and where I could buy the gun, thanks

Benjamin NPXL .22 cal ( one for sale in the classifieds here) will get 25plus fpe , a Hatsan 125or 135 will do 31 fpe ( can get one through o shoot.ca) a Diana 350 magnum will be a little less power ( lots of sources) or the clone B28 hard to find in Canada ( maybe scopes and ammo) .
I chose the 135 and scoped it weighs in at close to 12 lbs . In springers , the bigger the power the heavier it gets.

I just converted my Benj NPXL 1100 .22 to a .25 cal and get 769 fps avg. with 19.91gr JSB's. That's 26.14 fpe. And as accurate as the .22. I've got some 24.35 gr JSB's on the way and if I can get 700fps out of them it should be right around 28 fpe. Plenty of power, but the Benj is a bugger to cock, 45-48 #. Still waiting on the first rabbit.

I looked at the shoot.ca , its tough to tell what gun and caliber to order because they dont specify the caliber ands specifics.

I was also thinking about the Diana 350 ntec magnum. But cant get any decent reviews on chrony numbers and accuracy.

Go to Pyramid Air and read the spec and reviews. Most Diana rifles are accurate but do take some break in time.

If you want a smooth and accurate shooter go with Weihrauch HW77 or HW97 or HW98...
any one of those will be better then ones mentioned...depends on your price range..

The HW's noted, will run in the 14fpe range stock. Perhaps there are high powered kits for them- don't know. They are top quality & accurate as-is.

I did have a 28C for a while. I didn't chronograph it- was not accurate, lots of weird nasty recoil and hard on scopes and mounts. Even after being lock-tighted, the screws did not want to stay tight.

Nasty kicking rifle.

Copy and paste the pyramid part number into the search bar at oshoot.ca .example the hatsan 135 vortex in .22 cal is PY-3976-7591 the .25 cal ends with 7592 . I bought my 135 from David at oshoot prior to the exchange rate taking a fall a few years ago .

The b28 I have also had really bad recoil , I replaced the piston seal which was really bad, lined the piston with some plastic deburred and lube tuned . She's a sweet shooter now ........that reminds me to call my brother in law to get it back. :P

David just messaged me back, he said the 125 sniper isn't available in Canada because of the suppressor, the 125 seemed to be a bit easier to shoot accurately than the 135,

In discussions, I'm surprised at how seldom the venerable Diana 48 is mentioned.

Mine is accurate, like all magnum springers hold sensitive, but when you find the sweet spot it does an honest 800 fps with Predators, and makes a fine rabbit gun out to 40 yards (shotgun range is my limit for single pellet projectiles in .22 caliber, PCPs included)

I bought a Vortex kit from Eric a few years back but haven't installed it, because I don't feel in will help the gun much - it's good to shoot as is and does the job and I'm a mechanical idiot. I like my 48 a lot. It holds 3/8" groups at 25 yards if I do my part.
