I was given a Telly LG69, it has seen better days. The front sight is missing, the metal is rusty and the stock is damaged. When I pull the side arm back there is no resistance and it doesn't cock the rifle. I can not find much info on the net about this gun. Does anyone have experiance with this gun?

You seem to be missing an important part of the cocking lever, and this would be why there is no resistance.

So I tore it down, cleaned as much as I could and found the problem. The cocking arm would not attach to the piston. I was able to attach it again when I assembled the gun. When I shot a few JSB 8.44gr. pellets over the chrony I got a high of 206 fps and a low of 200 fps. This gun is scary to load because there is no saftey or anything to prevent the sliding breech from crushing your fingers if the gun decides to let go of the piston. I read on a website that this is why the gun was withdrawn from sale in the UK. Rather than having a compression chamber sliding within the airgun main tube, it only has a breech that slides back, pushing the piston into the battery.

All the seals are toast but I think it may be impossible to find replacement parts for this gun. The spring looked ok, it wasn' t bent at all, rolled flat on a table. I will post a picture of all the parts with the gun apart.

Could try measuring the seal. Might be able to buy a replacement after market. Might not be for that gun, but will work.

I made an account on that site but it will not let me post anything. It says my account is "read only" and "the site is not accepting applications at this time"
