Hey all, new member here, and I have just acquired a new to me 357 pellet pistol. I have one already, the all black one (before the vigilante) and love it. Have never done any repairs on it or mods other than purchase three more ten-shot cylinders. The "new" one is why I'm here; it is the long barrel one with brown (very comfy) handle grips. Don't know what year or any other background info on it. As is, it needs the little rubber piece under the latch as the barrel falls open all the time, as well as the little spacer at the beginning of the barrel due to it fitting loose (might be because of the latch, but am going to get a couple any way).

My question is what would you guys due to this pistol to make it like new again, and shoot like my black one? Is there a complete seal kit or something that I can buy and replace right off the bat? I seen a kit P/N 357-050, but don't know what is all in it, or if it is even the one I need. Chances are this thing hasn't been fired in years. Any and all suggestions appreciated!

The seal kit has all the parts you need, including the rubber for the latch.

I had the same problem but I replaced the rubber under the latch with a small spring. The spring sits on top of plate cylinder delrin and puts more pressure on latch to keep it up than the factory rubber one did. You have to cut a small spring down to make it fit. The spring I found in my junk stuff so cant help you where to get one.
