Hi Guys,
Would anyone know of a good supplier for compression springs?
I need some for my 22 cal. Discovery fitted with a homemade RVA.
We only have a couple of local retailers here that stock springs and they never seem to have what I want.
I find 5/16" X 2" work with my homemade RVA.
What strength spring do you guys like?
It would be nice to have 3 or 4 different strength for all tunes.
I would like to have the option to tune the Disco from 700 fps to 950 fps.
I'm always changing tune to suit indoor or outdoor shooting.
The few springs I have now have been cut or compressed to much. :axe:
This Disco is sure a lot more fun since I put the RVA on it. :)

Cheers

Tazz, a stock QB78 hammer spring is 0.323'' OD (slightly more than 5/16''), has 0.046'' wire size and is 2.345'' un-compressed in length. You can get them at Scopes and Ammo. HTH

It pays to read the forum...... I am in the same condition with my Disco in .177. I want to de-tune it for choosing indoor/outdoor shooting.

So far, I have a power adjuster enroute and will be looking at changing the spring. Thanks for a good tip!

I agree that the Disco is fun to own and shoot.

Hopefully someone else can confirm this, for me and yourself. I think a 2240 hammer spring has same dimensions but has lower pre-load? Alot lower if I remember correctly.
