All of the comments are from Amazon.com - really doubt that it is legal to own it in Canada...

But if you have the bucks - give it a go and find out!

There is something of a "dark web" on Amazon. I have mentioned these two before and it's hard to find them by searching but they are there - and the MPX sometimes has a price on it:

625 FPS air pistol... you're getting into "restricted firearm" territory. Don't think I'd want to go there...

There is nothing "illegal" about it but it does require a RPAL to buy and own it. Also, you have to belong to a firearm range and the only place you can shoot it is at said range or otherwise government authorized range.
As was mentioned earlier, the price is ridiculously high. I know the Alecto/Zoraki has been unavailable for quite a while but to almost double in price is shocking.
Your best bet is to buy the standard one and if you want, get a machinist to make an ultra barrel for it. My advice would be to stay with standard barrel as I got 460fps with mine out of the box.
Good luck

The air bleed screw adjustment is pretty simple to do, IF you are mechanically inclined and like to fool around with stuff like that.

The Alecto I purchased used a little while ago was bleeding air after the second pump. Maybe that's why the guy sold it, who knows.

I would just caution anyone who tries it to not close the bleed screw all the way. If you do that, and someone pumps it 4 times, you "could" end up with a split \ burst air reservoir.

Also, you may end up with a restricted weapon.

I have many non-PAl .22's and the Alecto buries a pellet in duct seal about the same depth, maybe a bit less, on 3 pumps. same pellet type of course. I'm satisfied with that for the simple target shooting I do, with the odd water bottle or tin can thrown in.
