How is it a good video? Conclusions drawn are not fact based, modified a product in order to use it in a manor in which it was never intended, did not properly secure the valve.

Short version...the guy had no clue what he was doing. Video is garbage IMHO and should be removed so this does not keep popping up to be dealt with.

good in a way to show that high pressure air is very dangerous
and not something everyone that isn't well educated on HP air should be playing with...
regardless if it was not properly modified or not..some hipac's have been known to come apart due to thread issues...

Really? They did have what I'm going to call "severe" quality control issues, but I have never seen or heard of a hipac coming apart when used as intended.

Have a link?

ill see if i can find it...don't hold your breath though it was a while ago that i read it.
I know it had something to do with possible manufacture defects on some of the threads that hold them together..

They did have issues with quality control with Hipacs. Also I noticed that mine didnt thread in all the way. Valve wouldnt blow out, if it was pinned.

None of them threaded all the way into a Crosman tube. This is not a quality control issue...better to have a gap than to not be able to bottom out on the seal.

Unless you machine the seal seat so it will. But there was QC issues with the tube being too thin.

Pretty familiar with what the QC issues were. Would have been relatively easy to maintain a decent tolerance on the bore and turned diameters.

But that didn't happen. I have three examples here that vary much more than what I would call "reasonable manufacturing tolerance", one is the one Alex sent me for the hydrotest, the others I purchased.

Doesn't change the fact that I've never seen or heard of one coming apart when used as intended. If one HAD failed, there are certain folks who would have made it their business to ensure EVERYONE heard all about it.

Then why is Hipac banned from a lot of airgun forums?

I know one person hes only running 1 screw and constantly runs his over 2000 PSI. Its just matter of time before there is a accident.

When used proper, AKA secured valve. But these guys putting them self in danger running the stock screw and want to run 2500 PSI. Or attach 3-4 extensions on a tube.

Only need one screw IF you're using the hipac AS intended. I WOULD upgrade the screw to an 8-32 low head socket head cap screw.

If your buddy wants a couple, tell him to shoot me a pm...have sent screws to a bunch of guys that had trouble finding them. No charge.

Alex's temper got the better of him is the short version, he was getting dumped on pretty hard and responded in kind. If everywhere YOU went, the same group of folks were dumping on you...you'd get your back up too. Know I would.
