Slavia 631 was my first airgun and holds a special place in my heart. It has the same action as the 630, an exploded view can be found on my webpage below:

Thanks for posting this. knowing where all the parts go is a big help. When the time comes will try to locate a video of a teardown on youtube. Seeing how 1.2 million of these 630s were made, sure there will be a video or two of a very proud owner working on one.

Really? Thought there were 3, as per a recent post of yours.
Man, you truly have a problem... :goodman:

Sounds like the fish in my tank. If you do pull that trigger let me know - having a partner to my 630 could mean little CZs running around the house. It seems that just about everyone that owns a Slavia doesn't only own one. I so can see myself expanding in that direction, really impressed with this piece.

Speaking of which: in case you missed my earlier post, which of the 3 springs would work best in the 630, from the link Notec posted. And any idea if any of the 3 would fit the Gamo 2100 Expo? Would like to take advantage of the low cost and order two springs, thus saving on shipping. If no one knows I may try to open up the Gamo and measure the spring, although it two may have been deformed over the years, not sure if that would help.

Ahhh, atta lovely family. Especially like lil' albino. But only cause he's the only one not wearing eyeglasses.
If I manage to damage the front sight on mine I'll know who to bug for a spare.

Btw love that stock colour of what I assume is dad, the old grizzled one with the "salt and pepper hair". If I had the skills to achieve something like that I'd so jump on it. Please do tell.

Ace, be an accomplice in a thread hijack by describing how you gave that dull brown stock such love? Yes, I'm referring to the bottom one in your pic. Love that grain and colour. The dull brown so doesn't go with this amazing rifle, IMO.

And if you can, answer this question that's been asked about 4 times (if I may return to topic) - which of the 3 springs in the link Notec posted is the best match for the 630? Or if you have a spring you could sell me, plz let me know.

Only Euro 1.32? Wow that's even cheaper than the one in the link mentioned above. That comes to just a couple of bucks. But what was the shipping cost? How long did it take to arrive?
And more importantly, what velocity did you get after installing this spring? Suppose if it's a stock spring that it should get you around the 600fps mark. Can you please confirm.

Keep on hearing nothing but great things about this guy. As I recall we even had a very productive discussion via PM some time back. Had no idea the dude was a genius. May have to bug him about possibly replicating that beautiful colour scheme to my dull brown stock, once I have the gun working properly.

And here I was, giving you credit for that beautiful work...

Around 1934.00 CKZ or $111.00 CAD for everything so not cheap, took two weeks to arrive.

I just shot a few JSB 8.44 gr pellets over the chrony at 620-625 fps

Ouch, that's the costliest shipping I've ever seen for a 2 dollar item that likely weighs less than 200g.
No, that ain't gonna work for me. But thanks for the heads up. Think I'll stick to the link Notec posted, at least it comes from within Canada and they'd be hard-pressed to justify a $100 shipping charge.
