It was nice to see it in the magazine. It probably was my favorite edition of Calibre. Because it talks about airguns and 1911s.

The article is wrong about the orange tips needed on some airsoft guns - that only applies to U.S. ones - not Canadian ones.... :wink:

Yeah but I think they just went by the soft air ones found at walmart or CT. Which many do have orange tips.

They also made it sound like all replicas are prohibited, even BB and pellet shooting ones, which is not the case. Without looking up the exact wording of the law, it's basically anything intended to be a toy is prohibited if it's a replica of a real firearm. Once the projectile has enough energy to break the skin, it is considered a gun and therefore allowed, within the limits of the law.

A disservice for anyone thinking of getting an air gun matching their favoured powderburner for cheaper, more convenient practice.
