Hi there,

I am currently looking for a electronic shooting trainer, so I have have to choose between SCATT and TRACE .

Have you heard about these devices and what are your experience ?

I need device below 1000 dollars so SCATT mx-2 is out of my range.

TRACE are pretty new in the market and I have not heard about them much.

Do anyone know these guys - https://www.traceshooting.com/ ?

p.s. I shoot 10m and 50m air rifle

Seriously? Why not just shoot and learn. Of course, if your club is hosting Rob Furlong, you could take his course and actually learn something about shooting, breathing, ballistics. He's at my local club in Oct 6-8 as well as in Alberta later on, running 3-day courses. $850.00 per course.

Local college biathlon team uses the scatt system. Coach seems to like it.

is he using scatt mx -2 ?

Have anyone here used TRACE ? There are lot of opinions on SCATT but not so much on TRACE.

TRACE price is very nice plus they give free software updates but I would like to hear more information from TRACE users

Played with a Rika a number of years ago, it was nice.
I "just about" bought a Noptel (from Finland), I think they were about $1,500 at the time.

If you're serious/disciplined enough, they can be a great training aid to get your scores up.
