Anyone try shooting pellets with the Colt SAA bb with using the pellet shells not the bb shells?

I actually use the original BB cartridges/shells on my Umarex
Colt SAA to load the pellets in. Just make sure to seat each pellet further into the rubber seal section of the shell/cartridge. I usually seat each pellet about 1.5 mm down from the base of the shell. When I purchased the Umarex SAA, I bought another 6 cartridges to use with the BBs. The other 6 are reserved for pellets only. Been shooting BBs & pellets over the last 2 yrs and have never had a problem. I find the pellets shoot tighter groups in this smooth bore revolver. I actually took it out to the Range this morning and was able to obtain 2 inch groups at 30 feet; standing free hand.

I don't know 100% if the pellet cartridges will fit into the cylinder of your SAA BB shooter. You might try asking or emailing some retailers to see if it'll fit before buying loads of them.

Just received the pellet shells and they fit fine in the BB SAA. Difference between them and the BB shell is the front opening is sized slightly bigger so you don't need to seat the pellets deeper. I'm still testing for accuracy.
