Dang, sorry to hear that. Best start a dispute right away. There was a bunch of guys on the GTA got silver dollars when they ordered compressors from ebay. Almost all of them got their money back.

AliExpress may feel more risky but they've actually got a tougher system to scam because the seller won't get their money til you've received the item and are given several weeks to respond with feedback. Not until feedback is given that everything was satisfactory do they get the money.
Here is one several guys have bought and safely received https://www.aliexpress.com/item/110V-Ad ... 262.opyyAy

no one got the part they ordered he is a scammer. so I'm sure I will probably get led light instead of my compressor
since it what everyone got.
here is a link to me seller.

Doesn't look good....Weird thing looking at some of his feedback, one item he sold was a Ford Raptor grill, but the buyer left feedback saying "nice Yong Heng pump"!! How does that happen? Don't know if they will let you open a case before the item is due to arrive, but I would get on it as soon as possible. Good luck.

The fact that he's no longer a seller, appears to have been shut down by eBay and has so many recent negative reviews would be good reason to dispute now. It gives eBay at least a chance of recovering the money from him instead of having to pay it back themselves. Calling customer service would be the best bet in my opinion!

I got mine from here...https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2017-Ne ... 0.0.RhJZFh

Seller's name is Sid Hong.

Very responsive to concerns and questions. UPS caused the delay in their shipment though but I got my unit in excellent and functional condition...

I wouldn't worry too much, Ebay is pretty good at protecting the buyer. If someone gets burned, they won't buy from Ebay again, way too many other places to buy from these days.
I have made purchases that suddenly seem like scams, I always worry and get worked up. In the end Ebay always comes through. If the seller has been removed, eBay already knows that he is a scammer. As mentioned, try and get in touch with eBay as soon as you can. You may have to call them.

I know it must suck, but trust me. I'm quite sure that you will get your money back.

How much did UPS ding you for brokerage fees, duty and such?
The more of these threads I see, the better a compressor sounds. The costs of a SCUBA tank add up over the years. Between hydro testing, annual visual inspections, refills, plus the hassles of finding someone to fill them. If these compressors last a few years they should be quite popular. I'm sticking to hand pump and the odd tank full for now, until I see the longevity of these pumps, and parts support.

Wow...I'm surprised, I've had custom and brokerage fees from UPS cost more than the item.

Yup just $16. In my case they held the item longer eg delayed by a week , despite the item shipped expedited from China.

That's great! Doesn't even cover taxes, or maybe I'm misunderstanding. Either way that is a fair price for fees! If only a guy could trust they'd only charge that every time!

I wouldn't be at all surprised if 2 months down the road you receive another invoice in the mail from UPS for anywhere from $30-$70 more. I still avoid UPS for international orders if at all possible, crooked company.

I will for sure let you know if that happens. UPS was the shipper used by the seller so not sure what arrangements he has with them.

Well today I go Mail a small envelope with a spiderman key chain,
So I looked at the tracking number and it's my HPA pump tracking number.

But the good news due to a good member on here I got my refund in under 5 minutes
so I go back to shop for a pump.

This is not over I'm not done.
