Hatsan's are good. I like mine. I refuse to buy American or support American companies till Trump is out of office. One can get everything from across the pond.

Hope? Did you take the course? You should have been notified immediately after taking your practical test which is just after your written test.

Hi,

If jckstrthmghty is suggesting that you'll know immediately after the course.... do consider that being notified of passing the PAL course and written and practical tests means nothing if the RCMP do not still issue the PAL. That takes a separate application and fee.

And that can take months, and involves background checks, character references, etc..

Can pass the written and practical test 100% and can still be denied. Don't have a PAL till you got the card in hand.

What jckstrthmghty is saying is "After taking the Canadian Firearms Safety Course the instructor will inform you if you have passed or failed the Written/Practical.
Then should give you the forms that must be filled out. Get an updated pic id and pertinent information along with references etc.
After all that and you mail it off with some $$$ to the RCMP's
Then...

The service standards to process a complete and accurate application are:
45 days, including the 28-day legislated waiting period, for a licence application; and or
30 days for a registration application.

Sorry...didn't mean to HighJack... Image
Gotta quit doing that...
