Im just wondering if anyone has tried increasing FPS on any of the UMAREX clones, such as the Surge or Ruger Airhawks using shims? I have a magnum spring installed in my airhawk but would love to get my blackhawk into the 600-650 with the stock spring. Im guessing the only place to shim would be in the piston sleeve ahead of the spring.

cheers
tango

A Diana 350 spring is not that much money. Scopes and Ammo should be able to sell you one.
I doubt a spacer will get to to the same power level.

I got a spring for about $40. from R & R Airgun Repair. Turned my Airhawk sub 500 to 946 FPS. Least accurate out of my three Airhawks. Very hold sensitive now. My 696 and 550 FPS blow the 946 right out of the water in consistent accuracy. Same scopes on all three. But not sure how I ended up with 696FPS but it is the sweetest shooter out of the three. Good luck to you. CHEERS!

Getting up around 950 may make some pellets unstable. Try a heavier pellet.
