I'm usually pretty good at searching out parts put I can't seem to find a replacement piston seal for my Benjamin Steel Eagle .22 (NP2). I phoned Crosman and she told me I need to buy the entire piston assembly...is this correct? If anyone has a part number (OEM or aftermarket) that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

But if you called crosman aka the manufacture and they say you need to buy the whole piston. You probably have to buy the whole piston.

10 NP214-131 PISTON ASSEMBLY 1 1

And they are correct, no seal listed.

I think just means get the seal with the piston. So doesn't get asked does it come with a seal. Because the EVP for the Steel Eagle 2 does not list a seal. Same as my Benjamin Trail NP pistol, all you can buy is the piston.

I believe the part number is CRS5177-012

You can call e-mail gravel agency and confirm.

According to the Q& A on tha PA website this seal fits the NP2 rifles.

Finally heard back from Gravel Agency. They sell part #crs5177-012 (piston seal) but won't confirm it fits the NP2. They told me they can only go by the parts diagram, which does not show the piston seal as a replaceable part, so they will only supply the entire piston assembly.

That # CRS5177-012 is correct. Not sure why Crosman won't share but it was easy to find b/c the NP2 is basically a magnum version of the old Legacy from ~2003, which they added a nitro and it became the NPSS or RNP. The next model is the NP2 which is that gun with various mods, mainly stretching it to increase stroke and net more power.
So if you look up the old Legacy parts list you'll see the seal and all the trigger parts too. The Legacy list looks like a copy of a hand sketch that was faxed, the RNP parts list look better: https://tinyurl.com/o8salb8
So no, the new CBT trigger is far from new. I also have an NP2 parts list I modded to show the seal and trigger parts if anyone wants

Gravel Agency is great to deal with. I found Thomas Pelletier their Service Rep very knowledgeable and easy to work with.
But I think like most places min. freight will be $12 or more.
