This looks interesting!

https://www.airgundepot.com/airforce-e-pump-compressor.html?trk_msg=HU4H8H764B7K3CD0K9RH0ELUOO&trk_contact=VSK8OC9RIKLOO46C4SC34P5VQS&trk_sid=VMTD5HG3E04UNQHHRMP6JGE7BC&utm_source=Listrak&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=E-Pump+Compressor&utm_campaign=2018+General+Sale&utm_content=SHOT+AirForce

Fellow forum member Cougar alerted me to this new forthcoming product. If the specs are accurate it looks like the cat's meow for all us PCP owners.

Yes, I noticed that too. According to the specifications, it draws .7 amps, which correlates @ 110 VAC to only 77 watts ......... would have to have a pretty wimpy motor to run on so little power; fill times on a rifle would be substantial I think, and forever and a day on a larger tank. As long as the unit is relatively quiet and reliable, prolonged fill times wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. There doesn't seem to be allot of additional information available yet -hopefully more details will be available soon.

I don't see any fill times listed anywhere. I know the Hatsan one is more money but it looks portable as well and not that much more. Not a lot of information on it either that I can find.

Interesting. Price is right. Looking forward to more info when it's released.

Yup, some pretty basic specs missing for a product for which you want pre-sale purchases. I'm with Mario on the "too little-too soon" theory.

Time will tell, but with specs quoted so far, cannot see how it's technically possible to generate 4500 psi with so little power going in; 3.2 amps@ 12V, assuming 100% efficiency (nigh on impossible) correlates to only 38.4 watts - just doesn't add up. Won't be investing any pre-order cash in this one just yet.

The Hatsan unit Cougar mentioned looks more promising.

Small, lightweight, low power draw, 4500psi not likely, must not leave unattended. Oops - no deal.

Plus "Do Not Use For Breathing Air" ..... doesn't inspire allot of confidence in terms of air quality / moisture. If it's not good enough for my lungs, it's not going into my PCP!

Moisture and convenience is why I've switched to nitrogen.

Benjamin is coming out with one as well, for $600 something US. It also is 4509psi and low power draw, 12v setup, can run off your truck or atv

Hmmmm,

This looks mighty familiar! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9E9W2nxDjc
Something AirForce is branding as their own, like the modified Cometa Orion?

According to the video, it's a mechanized hand pump.
