had to repair a none working 1400 for someone, got it all done and working again
and then was asked if i could make a front sight for it since the original one was broken off
so here's what i did, i got an old front sight from one of my 2240 parts bin and modified it to fit the 1400
by cutting out the bottom section with a dremel and then measured and drilled a hole for the set screw
and counter sunk it... tuned out pretty good and looks pretty natural,
just thought id share this just in case someone has a broken front sight and cant get an original replacement part... :wink:
