The 631 IS A WAY BETTER GUN. In other words buy the 631 you won't regret it.

I think this is a very good question. We hear so little from people who own a Legacy. If you are going to allow mods of these two guns then I think the Legacy would blow away the Slavia in terms of power but all that doesn't matter if the Legacy doesn't handle well and shoot accurately. Perhaps we could hear from someone who owns a Legacy?

Where would I go about finding a slavia 631 to buy? Anywhere other than the internet?

Four votes! Get the 631!

You will get a true 495fps.

An old buddy was over yesterday with his 3 year old 630, and he's been real happy with it.

His only complaint is the rear sights, but the 631 has a better one.

I have never looked closely at the Legacy. Is it related to the Quest? Any similar parts? ... or is it a totally different rifle?

Thanks,
Todd

The legacy is HUGE. Unless you have gorilla sized hands don't get it.

The Legacy is a monster, in all ways
size and preformance, with mods and cleanup
As far as a physical comparison to the Quest
Its a very refined copy........of the original 440 ....or the Quest
whos counting
Btw Ken if your listening, started with a 4.6 oz tophat (2 piece)
gonna whittle it down fron there and see where I end up
I'm assuming that thats way too much, but fun to shoot
Pics....if I have the patience

Hi Todd ,
The Legacy is unrelated to the quest , even though they both emulate the Gamo 220/440 series .It is 100% American made and the parts are not interchangeable .The Legacy has a thicker tube and larger seal /larger piston ..similar design is where it ends .
The quest is a closer copy of the Gamo and many parts will interchange.
