Really it's always springner time.


Wow is that a current photo?
I still have 2 feet of snow at my house and it snowed over night so i have everything covered this morning.


Nice rifle give us details. side cock like that not very common.

Yes the pics are from last week. I'm at the West coast of Norway, the Gulf stream helps.

The first one is a 1980 Weihrauch 35. Stock stained green/painted black and finished with varnish, leather piston seal converted to plastic.

The sidelever is a 2017 Diana 52. Stock stained brown and finished with boiled linseed, original "muzzle weight" replaced with UNF silencer adapter.

That's great, vestlenning, but not so much here. This is my front yard, last week. couple days, we've had just up over freezing since,then,

then some more snow yesterday afternoon. Now forecast is freezing day and night for the next week or so.

Nice rifles, btw. Looking good!

IIRC Weihrauch referred to the green finish stocks as "safari stocks". They're kind of rare and kind of neat. :)
