Thinking of modding my 1377 with a 18 inch barrel quick question do I need a new barrel band?Could use your input thanks

You'll either need a new one or you can just drill out the old one to allow the barrel to slide through.

Yes I thought that was going to order all the parts from scopes and ammo steel breech and barrel few other parts but I see they don’t carry the barrel band but that’s where I’m getting the parts they seem to have the best prices

I bought one recently from Canada shooting supply. If you contact Raman through their customer support he'll send you one letter mail if you ask,as long as he has some in stock.

If I can offer an advice, get a 760/2289 barrel band. These have a screw that will tighten the band around the barrel, thus stabilizing it.

Good advice, up to a point. Those 22-89 bbl bands can be stripped out/ split through over-tightening. Don't ask how I know :oops:
A 1/4 past snug on these screws should be sufficient. If not, got to a 6x32 machine screw and nut arrangement. Over tighten on this, and the base of the band will split...
