I bought a 68 cu. In. FS tank to refill my bullboss but it will only fill it to 1000 psi. Is the tank just to small or is something wrong.

Should be plenty big to fill that gun. Does your fill tank have a regulator on it (faulty?), or is it regulated at all?

Is it a paintball tank? if so the regulator is probably limited to 1000 PSI.

I think that is the problem it is supposed to be a 3000 psi regulator
But probably doesn't have the right shims in it

3000 psi is probably the input pressure.... If it is a paintball tank the output is likely set to 850 psi.... If the regulator is supposed to be 3000 psi output, then there would appear to be a problem, assuming the tank was full to start with....
