Had some fun today shooting the QB78 pcp 22 at my Dad's farm. We got bored at 40 some yards so moved out of 75 yards shooting off the house deck. Dad did better than me I think but we both were pretty happy with the gun once we got it mostly sighted in =). Dad had 8 in the bottom left and I shot 7 in the middle top. The others were trying to figure where zero is =). Happy Canada Day!ImageImageImage

Thanks Guys! It was great to finally make it to the farm. I live too far away and hardly make it back, so this is a treat!
Maybe we'll try for 100 yards tomorrow =)
The 3-12x44 is great but the little 2" stickers look pretty small at that distance!=)

Almost looks like Foam L. country

My last over 70 yds shooting produced groups no where near as nice as those.
Those "D" stocks came out really nice on some guns. What scope is that?
Just watching Eli Wallach in the frontier store scene in the Good the Bad and the Fugly right now.

Good on you and your Dad. Mostly hunted and fished with mine. There were some basement sessions with assorted p/b pistols, but the hunting is where the memories are...

Thanks! Yeah lots of good memories hunting and fishing too. Glad to hear you've got those memories as well. =) Been so long since I watched that movie I can't even remember it or when. I'll have to look it up :D sounds fun!
Foam Lake isn't that far off, maybe an hour south west of the farm or so. This is Preeceville area.

This is the same Spike 3-12x44 you bought. It had some scratches on the knobs from a loose Alan key when shipped, so I was kinda happy to claim it 8) .
Almost drove over a grouse yesterday, man I miss living in God's country! :)

Thanks! Yep shoots great. Today is a lot windier here, so the 100 yard didn't go so well =). Dad managed two bulls eyes out of an 8 shot clip but the rest were kind of all over, and that's about the best group we got. =)
Lots of fun anyway =)

Thanks!
Had a fun little field target c petition with Dad today, 25 yard 40 yard and 65 yards with a mix of splatter burst paper animals shatter blast and steel targets. Lots of fun! He had the QB Chief and I had the QB78. I out shot him at 65 yards but he beat me over all =). Fun day :D
Hope you all had a great day as well whatever you did for your holiday.

Yeah dads normally whoop our arses. I cannot out shoot my father. Only thing I can beat him at, is growing a beard.

Our club just had a charity shoot for local animal rescue group. It was a fun match from 5 to 100M. I had no issues with off hand shooting the targets at 100/75M. but the smaller ones I had a problem. Joys of Iron sights.

Just makes me realize I need a scope and work on my off hand shooting.

But looks like fun times with pops.
