When I heard that Umarex was bringing out a fully licensed CO2 Glock replica, I could not wait to get my hands on it. Now that I see what they have released, I will not be spending a dime on one.

For starters, they only released the compact Glock 19 in a steel BB version. They released both the full size Glock 17 and the compact 19 in airsoft only. Secondly, it has a fixed slide with no blowback. Third, it has a drop out stick magazine.

What a let-down that is. Anyone else feel the same way? Anyone buy one anyway?

I tried to like them, but I hate Glocks. They feel unnatural in my hand. As a result, I could care less about the Umarex ones.

Owing real ones. Anything less than a real one would be a disappointment.

I thought about buying one for dry training. But I dunno how it would translate.

That was partially what I had in mind - I have a real steel Glock 17 and wanted to buy the airgun as a training tool.

For the moment, it is a desapointement for those Umarex. I will stick to my airsoft, for the moment...

Just wait for the good stuff.
If they bring out the take down, blowback version now, who will buy the crappy version afterwards? No one.
So they get the crappy stuff out first and will sell you the better ones later. Just be patient.

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun
