22.5 work fine? Lol.
Turns out there is an RC hobby store 20 mins from home. $5, life time supply.

So, I have the seals soaking in the silicone oil. How long is appropriate?
What should I do with the piston seal after? It is my (gaining) understanding that i DO NOT want silicone oil inside the gun. Apparently it is not safe for metal to metal contact/friction.
Should I just dap and squeeze the piston seal in a paper power then use my oil of choice down the transfer port as per normal?

Soak the seal for two days just to be sure....it SHOULD puff up nicely but its not ALWAYS the case..use it anyway and if it leaks you can also make a new leather seal or go for o rings......I assume it is a non pal gun...maybe 400fps...…If so you can use a little low viscosity synthetic for lube on the front seal....I agree no silicone...

Yes..dap and squeeze and then oil it right away......going down the transfer port doesn't work that great for leather seals because of the amount of oil they can absorb...

You could get an old leather piston seal, hammer it out for size, put it on your breech and hammer it softly untill it get set. Use a plastic hammer. You could also recuparate leather from an old shoe.
