Most likely going to pull the trigger(so to speak) tomorrow and order from AGS.
Anyone here have one ,and have any good or bad info on these?

I have the streamline in 177, with the x barrel, and am very happy with it. I thought that it was discontinued and replaced by the dreamline.
I found that I had to clean the barrel really well the first time to get the accuracy I wanted. Mine also had a regulator problem when I first got it that had to be repaired under warranty. I would suggest doing a shot string over a full tank to make sure you aren't getting a bell curve.
It's very accurate shooting a clover hole at 55 yards with sorted pellets.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the info!
AGS has them 4sale. Will talk to them about any reg issues with their stock.
The combo of power, shot string, accuracy, and trigger is what made me interested in this model. Is yours one of the first Streamlines produced?

Hey triggerhappy,

I did a pretty thorough review on my .22 Streamline a few months ago, with many follow up posts by other members; you should be able to find all the answers you are seeking there ( topic78579.html ).

Cheers!

Hey Triggerhappy,

Yes I did sir. I performed a minor modification to the sear, placing a washer on either side of it's fixing pin, which keeps the part centred on the spring and trigger. Otherwise the sear can bind on the sides of the metal slot to which it is pinned. Very easy mod. I also discovered adjustment of a small set screw concealed by the Walnut stock allows the safety to be engaged whether the rifle is cocked or not -a huge improvement IMHO over stock, which allows the safety to be engaged only if the gun is cocked. Will do a follow up post with photos when I have the time.

Good choice on the FX Streamline -you won't be disappointed it's one of the most accurate and handsome traditional looking PCPs on the market. Everything about it oozes quality and versatility, except the price -It's a steal.

Cheers!

I bought mine as soon as they became available. Have shot thousands of rounds. Had an initial blip which AGS fixed quickly, and it has been absolutely perfect since then.

I highly recommend it. I have the synthetic stock, as I need it to be as lightweight as possible. It can hold its own with just about any air rifle out there. At 40 yards, I'm finding that it makes a hole just barely bigger than a pellet after shooting a group with standard 15.9gr JSBs.
