I did polish the two mating surfaces but seem to me the alignment between is just not good enough to get a smooth travel and release.
Any other brand trigger could fit even if I have to rework things a little bit?

This is the only choice I know of; don't know if it's available in Canada. RC

That AR "2-stage" is just a hinged, spring loaded trigger blade.... the trigger is mechanically the same....The best mod. I know for a QB trigger is a spring plunger to replace the overtravel screw.... shown installed here (upper right circle)…. Note the gap, which provides the 1st stage travel....

Image

Disassembled below.... showing the carefully polished contact surfaces between the trigger and sear (large circle above)

The spring plunger is shown in place of the overtravel screw at #2.... The trigger spring (S) was also replaced with a weaker one....Sear engagement is adjusted by the screw at #1.... Don't go too small, you need a safe engagement still when the trigger blade touches the spring plunger which provides the increase in pull weight for the 2nd stage....

I did polish together the mating parts to shine, that was probably one of the mods I've done on QB, used grease what I had available in my garage,
but still after some good time toying with the gun, when I pull the trigger no rough friction as was initially but more like the two faces sticking together.
I know for older engines there are oils with molibdenium microballs, but currently I have no older car to buy a can.
What grease you would recommend to have a closer look?

That "moly paste" or "moly grease" is some sort of "never-seize" ? like half micron balls of molibdenium I guess like in liquid molly?
I hear about it earlier but never had in my hands, perhaps not even exclusively Honda dedicated grease but will check now how much they selling...

Honda Has the best price for it so don't shop elsewhere.

The QB trigger is a good one if tuned right I have a trigger tuned by Bob and it's the best trigger I have used bare none airguns or PQ burnners.

so do what Bob/Rsterne is telling you.

You need to have another look.... The tube is 2.65 oz. = 75 gr.... It's only $18.95 on Amazon.com, there must be a better place to buy it than Amazon.ca....

before reading these reply's above....
yesterday my ride toke me along the way to Honda dealership in Missisaugha, so I went inside and look for Parts.
the guy told me they not selling this grease to public available to their service stuff only!
I told them I need only one drop, a single drop for my airgun...
So a service manager , after some discussion with a Parts desk, called me back to the counter, they offered me this thing but cannot issue an Invoice....
75 gram for $25+T=30 bucks for a single drop seem to me freaky but lets go I am here no need to spend my time again along the line...
Definitely I will not go back to Honda Canada.....beside the fact my wife is driving a CRV...a piece of Canadian built s*hit cann...anyway I was sitting in that SUV maybe two maybe 3 times in this last two years....I don't know is that me so much against Honda Canada or just me got dragged with a wave....
I got the grease, will try next time the QB will be in parts :) that could be in half an hour, or, just very soon...
