Hi I was thinking of hunting doves with my impact x and seen that I must use lead free ammo so I was wondering if anyone has tried some and have any recommendations? Also I have a .25cal

Why you need to use lead free pellets? You are afraid of lead poisoned when you eat your pigeon soup? :)

Isn't that use the FX Impact for pigeon a little bit too much? Or you want to do that from 100 yards away? That would be a challenge ~ especially on lead free pellets....

Not afraid of lead. I seen online to hunt doves you must use lead free ammo so I just don’t wanna get caught by conservation officer with lead. Yea the impact might be powerful for doves but I only got .25 cal if I had .22 I would use it.

Yes, you remind me about that...

I remember I read something similar before... And Dove is seasonal too, you can't hunt them year around...

The SIG non-lead pellets have received some positive reviews. In my own experience the H&N Greens have worked very well when compared to the RWS, JSB and H&N lead pellets I've also used. A caveat though: All my guns are non-pal and I use them only for 10M target shooting. They may have problems that don't show up under those conditions but could in higher velocity, longer range use. I've never tried that so I don't know.
