I had a chat with FX USA. Even though he knows he can't sell me a gun, the guy was very helpful so kudos to him and FX USA.

Basically it's November introduction for $1000. The first guns will be a Streamline look. There will be optional kits to make it look like whatever you want. About $500 each.

The huge upside is that you can choose barrels within the calibers and choose calibers. He mentioned you can change liners for about $100.

I brought up the issue of certain pellets preferring smooth twist versus full rifling and he said you just buy a different liner.

The huge downside is that the air chamber is fixed at 220cc, 28mm ID. I doubt they want to supply a bigger air chamber because it would then be a competitor to the Impact line. Which is also why it won't be too popular in large calibers because of limited air supply.

Streamline has been out of production for a while. They want to have three lines. Impact/Crown on one end and Dreamliner at the other.

For me, I have to get my PAL and that's perfect timing. It was confusing to try to keep up with all their barrels and options. In my opinion, my choice would be a synthetic .22 and sharpen my skill level up to 50 yards. Then get a second liner to be able to shoot 25gr+ pellets for hunting. In theory, the adjustability should allow for zeroing the scope, choosing a 16gr smooth twist liner or 25gr full rifle liner, adjusting the power settings and having a "universal" gun.

Again in my opinion, stretching a .22 to 100 yards is ok, but I would go for 30 cal to be serious about it. That's were the Impact has it over the Dreamline.

Waiting with anticipation...
