so, i'm getting more annoyed with my 1322. i had the same problem with the original valve. I tried putting a new bolt into the gun, still didn't help. i tried making sure air wasn't leaking out the top of the transfer port and the breach, didn't work. Tried using the original plastic one, didn't work. I'm out of ideas. anyone know what's up?

I didn't go with a flat top... as said, with it, only 5 pumps you should get this number...10 pumps might blow out the valve?!

And I want to know other setup of the gun, barrel length? The pellet weight?

IMO the 14.3g Crosman .22 pellets is on the heavy side of the pellets... Although it won't be too heavy for a 1322, but don't expect it can shoot it as rated @ 460fps...

So as said, I think 430 fps is still normal as you didn't put a longer barrel for your gun...

I will try my 1322 later tonight to see how much it shoots as I didn't chrony it yet after I put back the stock barrel and used its longer barrel to my 2240 recently....

Maybe the transfer port is restricting the airflow?

Its the new one; there isn't a bleeder hole stock, and i put a flat top in it anyway, witch also doesn't have a hole.

The crazy guy just put 50 pumps.... I doubt he bought the 1322 is not for making a survival gun as said but just use it to build up his muscles... Faint!

Is your flat-top piston adjusted correctly, so it just ''kiss'' the flat valve face?

Also, is it retaining air?

Are the Orings in good condition? If the pivot pin hole is not deburred, it can nick those fragile Orings.

my piston isn't adjustable. also it is holding air.
i ran out of crosman pellets, ive been using rws superdomes @ 14.5 grains. got 441 fps at 10 pumps, but i think that's still pretty low, considering there is only a 0.2 grain difference.
what do you mean by the pivot pin hole? why would the o ring go near it? it cant move that far back.

The pump pivot pin, the stock one is a roll pin that hold the pump arm to the barrel band and the front of the tube. You should have took it out to put in the piston, if it wasn’t deburred before install it could have cut the piston o ring when you installed it.

Also i’m Surprised your flat top piston isn’t adjustable, both of mine from different manufacturers are as well as the ones i’ve seen.

Hi Asuername, I just checked mine which almost returned back to stock except the high flow port.

Shooting CPHP 14.3g, 10 pumps I got about 450fps and 12 pumps I got about 480.

How about your flat top at 5 pumps?

I think about another way to check the problem... Did you see if you got the same number at 3 pumpsw, 5 pumps, 10 pumps, 12 pumps etc...

FYI ~
