Hi, I recently found this at my dad's place and I think the last time it was fired was probably 1978. I put a new O ring on the piercing cap and it actually held gas and shot about six co2 cartridges but now it's leaking from a different location.I'm looking for a reputable air gun repair shop that I can send it to. I can't seem to find anybody locally or in Nova Scotia. Also curious if anyone knows why there is nothing on the gun but "co2 semi-automatic. Just downloaded Goggle Drive so I hope my pics come out alright on the link....Thanks....Rob https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

600's are very finicky airguns you must cock them in the proper manner or you'll have issues in no time
and there not the easiest to work on as well....good luck
the 600 and the 451...two airguns that are a pain in the butt....
great only when there working fine...other then that don't bother unless you have a lot of patients

I would ask Rob if he could repair it http://www.randrairgunrepair.com . The 600 is more complex than most Crosman's to work on.

Ace has repaired several different 600s over the years for me.

Always VERY happy with the work he has done.

Send it to him in Toronto and he will repair it for.

Have only worked on one 600, and while I'll admit it's more intricate than a 2240 I didn't find it intimidating. Take pictures of the trigger group, and find some online too...this is how I found out that the one I was working on had been apart previously and assembled incorrectly.

If you want the factory service manual, you can look online or shoot me a pm with your email and I'll send it to you.

I don't know you or your abilities, so don't take offense to the following if it seems like "common sense".

Take pictures...and your time. If it looks like it should move or you THINK it should...but it doesn't...stop and figure out "why" it isn't moving before reaching for a "beating tool".

Regards,
Al
