Didn't know the Cybergun AK was the same as the Yunkers.
Like others have said, I think it's totally dumb. Airsoft AK's are common, with or without orange tip (orange tip are for the US market, you can take them off if you want). What is the RCMP scared off and why are they making the laws? When did cops start making laws?
All of these dumb rules, butterfly knife? Blow guns? You can open pretty much any folding knife with a thumb stud faster than a butterfly and blow guns? Come on! You can have a bow and arrow but not a blowgun?!?

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

AK prohibition was back in 1993.. Shortly after Oka. Meaning if you didn't have one registered before that date, you wouldn't be licensed.

It was only since 2005 that they banned them from Ranges. And made all 12x firearms other then 12-6, or 12-7 ( short barrel pistols, and pre 1945 grandfathered pistols ) able to goto the range. Unless they were registered to a range.

Many are failing to realize that the cybergun, and yunker were built from real AKs. Meaning they converted a receiver. The airsoft and paintballs are not.

So with the explosion of full & semi-auto military air rifle replicas, now coming to market, do you think anyone will come out with a AK47 in full auto with a mag capacity of more than 18?

This AK47 air rifle was also banned in the USA.

Just think, there is the MP40, DPMS, Hellboy, Steel Force/Strike, Uzi, and more types out. With M1 Carbine coming soon. Can't see why, what has been described as "the most recognized rifle in the world", hasn't been replicated in a more modern air gun. They say more than 100 million AK47 have been produced. Are you listening Umarex, & Crosman.

You're failing to understand. The gun in question was made from a REAL gun ( one prohibited in Canada ) Same factory and press that they make AKs. That the problem. Had nothing to do with being replica or looks. Since Airsoft ones are okay, the POS comrade.
