A few pics and instructions on how to remove / replace barrel on the PP700SA. Good for those who want to do a caliber swap or rework their existing barrel .
1- degas the gun , you can either shoot it down to a low enough pressure that you can overcome the poppet by pressing on the hammer or use the tool that came with the pistol and loosen the Guage slowly unscrewing until the air comes out .
2-remove the barrel tensioning nut , I use a pair of snap ring pliers then remove the shroud

Like to add something, that I didn't see in the walk through. I had trouble removing the barrel tension nut. Took more force then it should have. I noticed on the barrel tension nut that, there was lines on it.

There is a small set screw under the front sight. That you need to loosen in order to take the barrel tension nut off. Meaning you need to take the front sight off, to gain access to it.

Also I also noticed that. 2 of the 4 screws that hold the grip part on, kinda acts as anti walk pin stop for the hammer pin. Or at least it was on mine.

There’s something new . I just checked and neither of the pistols I have have a set screw under the front sight . Just goes to show one can never be too cautious when disassembling stuff. Never force something that should easily be removed . Good info and thanks for sharing Leadslinger .

Yes thanks! I thought these new ones were extra hard to remove. That's why I guess!
