Finally got a small opportunity window to test this bbl and breech on my chaser pistol frame.

Here it is with one of my standby test scopes- a 4 X 20mm Weaver B-4.
This early constantly centred reticle has been a very reliable test platform, because it retains it's zero so well. The fine cross hairs in it help a lot. Not the brightest, or sharpest by a long shot. What counts is that I am comfortable, and confident in shooting with it. This little scope has accounted for more small game than I am capable of remembering...
If this rig weighs more than 3 1/2 lbs, I'll be very surprised. Tempted to use it on CO-2 in the early grouse season while it's still warm enough out there for stable CO-2 use.

I actually yanked the one at right side of the group~ poor bench form as usual. That is 5 of the JSB 8.44 gr.
This is accurate enough for the close-in grouse shooting that I work at getting myself into.
Power seems to be around the 500 to very low 500's mark. I will run it over the chrony on it's next session.
This bbl is a lot quieter on the Chaser frame than it is on the 700-W pumper platform. On that gun it has almost a rimfire "crack" to it.

Nice! Easy carrying on those long walks. Should be a good warm weather grouse gun. =)
