I see the Vigilante is on sale next week for $70.00. Is that good value. How is it for accuracy using pellets? Is it a rifled barrel or smooth bore? I have the Brodax for BB’s. Or is there a more accurate pellet revolver. The Remington 1875 is on for $150.00. Or should I look at the Colt Python, or Dan Wesson, or, or, or, there’s too many.LOL

I love my Vigilante. I paid $90 on sale and just saw the upcoming Princess Auto price. It has a rifled barrel and I have never put any bb's through mine. Mine was spot-on right out of the box. It's one of my favourite guns to shoot. And once you buy an extra pack of 3 clips, you have 40 shots ready to go.

Paid $90.00 for mine at Canadian Tire. It shot great right out of the box and also have not put any steel bb's thru it.

Don't have the Vigilante, but do have the Remington/Crosman 1875 and a version of the Colt Python (Swiss Arms 357).

Both are fairly accurate for smooth bore revolvers. Pellets make the 1875 a little more accurate.

Like the shell loading realism of both of them. Bought the Swiss Arms 357 from Princess Auto a few years ago. I choose it over the Vigilante. Have not been disappointed. But if Vigilante has a rifled barrel, it may be a bit more accurate if you only shoot pellets in it. Remember that BB's will eventually ruin the rifling in the barrel.
