Why I'm asking this because It has the worst bluing job ever, came like that from US. Not worth really sending back to them. So I kept it as is. He sent me some blueing and really didn't make any real difference. I can get it powder coated for 10.00, 2 day turnover. Already had something else done and it was a exact match. I was really impressed!

I've never seen any steel breeches powder coated, aluminum yes. Is there a good or bad thing doing this?

Greg

Hi Greg,

I know that powder coating adheres well to steel parts if the job is well done. It usually has hi wear characteritics, and offers good rust protection. If you already have experience with the person doing the job, and you like the results, I'd say go for it man :)

I just walked by and want to see how beautiful it would be after the powder coating.... You won't put black color back to the original black color piece right??
