Hello everyone

Last year I purchased a Benjamin BSSNP22TX. I cannot for the life of me sight this rifle in. It shoots about 6 inches low and 6 inches right (roughly), and I run out of adjustment on the scope when I try to correct it.

I took a (known good) scope off another air rifle I have and mounted it to the Benjamin with the same results.

I have no such issues with a (cheap) .177 caliber rifle I also own. I've tried Crosman Premier pointed, H&N Terminator and H&N Baracuda (their spelling) with the same results - low and right.

I'm not claiming to be a crack shot, but I'm reasonably accurate with my .177 air rifle.

I'm pretty sure I'm out of warranty on this one, my fault.

Is there anything I can do for this thing?

Thanks,

Brian

Might require new shims for the barrel block, not sure their size but should be easy to find out with a search on our great forum or i am sure some other of our fine members will know or have a different explanation

Bent barrel or misaligned barrel perhaps. No open sights on those rifles (Crosman steel eagle NP) so must rely on scope being aligned with barrel. Loose breach likely to result in shotgun groups or vertical stinging, but not likely consistently right and low.
If there is still warranty.. send it back. If not you need desperate measures, like try a different barrel.

Put pellet in breech, close breech then open again and check to see if pellet has clipped or crushed upon closing barrel.
