I have strayed away from airguns for awhile now and am a little out of the loop on what’s been happening with the Drozd.
I see there are no Blackbirds or Mag fed Drozds for sale anymore.
I have the model before the Blackbird and would love to put a mod board in it for at least 1200rpm.
Is anybody still selling these and will the Blackbird board work on mine.
Any help bringing me back up to what’s going on would be great

Drozd left the US (in a hurry?) when that country (and Canada) slapped trade sanctions on Russia a few years ago. I've seen a couple of Blackbirds on the board in the last six months (one with a board), but those Sergey boards are long gone, I'm sad to say.

That’s a real bummer. Nobody isn Canada makes them? I guess with them pulling out there would be no market for accessories anyways. Oh well I guess I can still shoot it in stock form, but it’s so boring

Seems to me the Blackbird boards are not compatible with the original Drozd, so you may have to sell that one to a less "discerning" airgunner and shop used for a Blackbird. I offer this link with ample trepidation. Drozd World used to be a big name in custom-built Blackbirds. This site is a wreck, and the only thing I could see that suggested it was current was a 2019 copyright at the bottom of one of the pages.

https://drozdworld.com/

No harm giving them a call. The price is true to the past for a customized Blackbird, and the extended barrel, while not as attractive as past offerings, would be a good investment for higher velocities. Which, of course, also suggests there may be importation obstacles above and beyond any trade sanctions.

As I said, offered with trepidation :? :D

Try reaching out to Mason Dawson on YouTube
He was very informative and reasonable when it came to buying parts from him.
I had hiccups and he walked me through the process with the mods
I definitely give him a thumbs up for a trader review

The Russian sellers still seem to have mod parts available.
