So I installed a new trigger today on my Pro Spirt, afterwards, took some shots to test everything out, no problems. Then, on the last test shot when I cocked the rifle I had a very weak cocking motion and I don’t think I fully engaged the safety mech. Now the rifle is cocked, loaded, and I can’t do anything to decock it fire it.

The lever doesn’t fully close all the way and the safety button is partially engaged it seems. I tried everything, pulling the cocking lever to try to engage the safety but it doesn’t go further and any harder and I will break it off. I tried the secondary safety button, doesn’t do a thing.

The only thing I can think to do is disassemble the gun completely. I believe it has the same setup as the TX200? I think if I did that I’d just have to be very careful and apply a lot of downward pressure when at the spring removal stage? I do not know if I can actually take it apart while cocked?

Any ideas?

I’ve manually pushed out the pellet and inserted a bunch of cleaning pellets so that of it does go off it shouldn’t damage the piston and shouldn’t cause any projectile damage.

Fixed... disassembled and reset everything.

That’s a lot of load when it’s cocked! Had to use my entire body to hold it down and when it let go it moved me a little!
