Replica airguns

I shot it yesterday.
Not impressed with it shooting so low. About 3" low at 5yds.
I adjusted the hop up as far as it'll go and it didn't help much.
This is covering the target with the dot too.

I was using standard steel bbs.
I'm sure the H&N smart shot would be worse as they are heavier.
I'll try the frangible dust devil's and see if they shoot any higher.

And more powderburners than is reasonable.

Mike at Replica Airguns also found it was shooting low. But then so do a lot of CO2 replica action pistols.

Since it has fixed sights you need to adjust your POA.

I think people need to remember that these types of airguns are more for plinking and practice, than actual competition target shooting.

All in all Mike gives it a good review.

I bought it for practice.
It won't fit in my holsters and I can't hit a can from 6 yds without aiming above it.
Not that great for practicing to improve my skill with a good handgun. Also it wasn't cheap either. They're over 200$.

That's weird, it's supposed to fit in holster made for the firearm... Umarex even bragged about it at shotshow!

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

the mag butt plate has a different profile.
the grip is lacking the finger groove thingys. ala 19X
'..fits in popular holsters like the Safariland or Blackhawk..'
'back' to the Gen 3 mag, so probably the '1/2 blowback' variety gun.

So what kind of plastic holsters would the Glock 17 Gen 3 or Gen 4 fit nicely? Anyone ever heard or use a Blade-Tech brand?

I found with my Gen 3 that if I stand at 12 feet or 3 or so yards out, the accuracy is much better. Anything beyond, I'm missing the BB trap on and off.

Standing that close makes it a more positive experience....anything else is a downer.\

I have a BladeTech polymer holster licensed for Smith&Wesson M&P. My Umarex S&W M&P40 CO2 Blowback fits perfectly..no snags or hang-ups. I did have to make a small mod on one side to accept the Safety Lever for my M&P 45 (pellet version)…but that was expected since that airgun had many differences from the real steel version.
With regards to Glock fitment, I couldn't say if the BladeTech brand polymer holsters will work for you.

I did get a polymer holster for the Gen 19 from Pyramyd Air that 'claimed' it was 'the' holster (made by ASG) that fit the Glock. Well it didn't because the trigger guard was to wide. No adjusting screws either. Very disappointed and would have been a hassle ($$) to return. I notice that currently PA offers those 'general purpose' fabric holster as accessory to the entire Glock CO2 replicas. Maybe an indication there that 'molded polymer holsters' might not accept the 'umarex' versions.
