Interesting...no mention of it on Crosman's website.

I’m thinking maybe someone at Midway doesn’t quite understand what semi auto is?

If you look at the second pic, it has a new magazine. Maybe they don't!

Sure does, initial feed and cocking handle on the left side. Interesting.

Looks like that is a previous model number being updated OR maybe this is a prototype picture released by accident..?

That would pretty nice.
It would be even nicer if they made a non PAL one for us!

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

I was right it's a prototype that should not have been released..
From GTA

"Good Morning Everyone!

Just to kind of clear things up.

Yes, the Semi Auto Marauder is a project currently in development at Velocity Outdoor.

I will say that this was prematurely listed on Midway and should not have been on their website. The images you all saw is of an old design and are computer generated renderings.

All i will say is.... Stay tune for SHOT show 2020 and to expect something in Q2 2020.

Best Regards,

Sigh, I agree...but sadly the reality is (as YepYep has pointed out) we just have to get a PAL and then every possibility is open to us. I am non-PAL by choice and sometimes grateful just because I don't waste time lamenting all the rifles i could consider.. as it is there are only about 20 or so non-PAL rifles to worry about.
Who wouldn't want a semi auto .22 marauder... I mean - Ya! I want. Can't get in non-PAL,,,, whew...NEXT. :drinkers:

Yep ~ I am having the key to the new world...

However a semi Mrod is quite an add on to the 'normal' PAL rated guns... It's a PCP with a big cylinder looks not for hand pumps and semi-auto....

I'm also non-PAL by choice. The problem I have with going the PAL way is I'll have nowhere to shoot my cool new gun! You can't shoot a PAL rated rifle in your backyard or garage since it's a firearm. It's a whole different game regarding storage and transportation. The registry (which is full on in my province) is also a big factor for me and I'm fully expecting it to come back at the national level.
