[quote="Knappr"]I’ve seen similar situations in the powderburner world. I had friend selling CZ and he did mind selling a bit less then MSRP as he was about promoting shooting not just promoting profit. Once a big dog noticed their sales were down they called CZ and complained.

Well, I wish all the best to them. I will definitely push the distributor to get the models I want and if they say "no", at least I will have something to show to Hatsan.

Hatsan rep was actually a very nice person and was more or less reasonable. Obviously, everyone wants "more" business. I will stick to the strategy I mentioned above and see how it goes. Another retailer/wholesaler based out of Ontario also approached them for same reason. So Hatsan knows that not everything is "fine" with their distribution channel. May be this will be a wake up call for them and they should start listening more to us now. They were all ears when I was talking about working closely with the end users/customers and how I am close to reality when it comes to the demand of a particular product.

Talking about nice people, I met the KRAL folks there and was humbled by the reception they gave me. I had all their attention for the 2 hours I spent on their booth. Super nice guys and very supportive.

Great to hear Raman! Your time and effort to go down there and meet the different companies is a big investment of your time and money, and a real benefit for Canada. Thanks for doing that!

I emailed Hatsan a new order today and here is what I heard from them -

"Hi, Please send all of your new orders to Bell Outdoors. We are not able to sell directly to any dealers in Canada. We understand your concerns and have addressed them with Bell outdoors. Thanks for understanding."

So, I will be contacting Bell Outdoors on Monday.
