I had 11 Excaibur crossbows and seven compound bows. Would stick the new one under her bed for a week then when she was watching I would pull it. She would say is that new and I would say no I have had it for awhile now. All she would say is oh. Sold most now and replaced with airguns which get used more shooting them in the house everyday. :)

I'm fairly certain my wife has pulled that exact same trick on me with all the clothes she has in her closet.

The appropriate number of airguns to own is easily expressed by the formula N+1. N is the number of airguns you already have.

How does one justify to the wife bringing yet another airgun into a house that already has seven available anytime to shoot?

I have somewhere between 80 and 100 airguns. So whenever she asks I say it's an old one.

Seriously, she doesn't mind. She buys unescessary stuff and so do I.

Even those I don't shoot very often, I'm not getting rid of my Diana 24, it's so nice, it's accurate, looks good, same for my Bronco and it's not being sold anymore so I'm not selling that one either! One of my first airguns, a cheap chinese springer, how am I going to sell that thing? Even at 20$ most people here don't want or need one and shpping cost would be more expensive than the rifle is worth. So I move them to the basement safe and they'll stay there forever and the collection will keep growing.

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

Too many, is when YOU decide it's too many.

Do you own enough guns, that's the question.
