Personally, been indoor and shooting "out" would kind of bug if I couldn't see what's coming on either side.
- Your shooting from inside the garage to minimize the noise?
- Any "kids" around?

+1 on some plastic fencing on the right side

No want to shoot inside to out. To be sheltered from the weather and be out of sight, out of mind. And I don't like packing it up when the neighbors are out, or have to wait for the neighbors to go inside for the day. Plus building a 30ft shed to be totally sheltered be $$$, so the gap will cut down the cost. And only the right side would be the problem.

No I'm not shooting inside to minimize noise. Since I never bothered to hide it for the last 3 years.. Main reason for this idea. Is I want to shoot and I don't want to have restrictions. There are kids couple houses down, but not a problem.

Sounds good.
If it was me, I'd probably want a window on the right hand side, just to be able to if there's anyone coming by.

On of my fear, would be for someone to into the range.
- had a "situation" on a military range near Montreal a in the late 80's. Everyone is finishing their box-lunch atbthe 600 yard line... when some hikers come out of the wood at the 100y line... :axe:

Got windows but wont do me any good. They're on the side, but would need to be on the back side to really see if anyone is about to walk by. I'll put signage stating go around to side door, and a rope wall. But normally my neighbors never bothered with me, unless I'm outside playing with my dogs.

Heck I might can this plan till I can build a 20ft enclosed shed, and just use the area in the very back. That people will only be there tossing branches over the bank, or mowing. Everything is put on stand still do to Covid 19.
