Anyone know how to transport an air gun cross town to the bush when on a mountain bike. Apparently I cant throw it in my backpack or can I? Either that or duct tape it to my forehead to avoid a concealed weapons charge. Anybody know? Thanks

Will you be going into any residential areas, or stores with it, in said backpack?

You can put them in backpacks and not be considered concealed. But if yes to any questions above, than its probably not a good idea.

As long as it's under 500 fps it's not technically a firearm, so the transportation rules don't apply. That being said, if it's in your backpack there's no reason anyone should ever know it's there, and nobody needs to know.

Exactly, just don't do something foolish on the way there or back, like stopping anywhere.
Do be careful about where you shoot it and who might see you and take offense, ie: call
the police. It's getting pretty weird. If someone thinks you are a threat to them, the charge
is "use of a firearm dangerous to the public PEACE!" It will not matter than it is a sub 500fps gun.
If it is used as a firearm, it becomes one, just so charges can be laid. For the police it is all
about "stats".
