Found this very interesting. I've personally owned Ruger 10-22's since 1966.
Just be aware that only 10 round magazines are allowed in Canada Today.
The Butler Creek 25round mags. I had were prohibited by the current Fed Gvt.(after Ruger brought out the "Pistols") & I had to destroy the 3 I had.
They were great for shooting groups and for shooting running gophers.
This was my Ruger 10-22 back in 2008.

You didn't have to destroy your magazines all you had to do is pin them to hold 10 rounds only.

I'd rather use the flush mounted ones. I have a quick release lever & I prefer to carry 6 shorter mags if restricted to 10 rounds
than the long ones pinned. I had thought of pinning them, but rejected that idea.
