Do you do some work on the side? Or are you looking for someone with particular skills?

Good morning Hobbyman,
Are you still doing freelance repairs and tuning?
I have a couple of springers that need tuning.

I’ve also done some refurbishing but not what I would call restoring. What I’m offering is a repair , tuning , customizing service including rebarreling/ caliber swaps. I have a small hobby lathe with capabilities to turn parts like valve parts, spring spacers , top hats etc. I’m not a machinist and making parts takes me longer than a shop but I will use good materials. I’m willing to do the work for FREEEEEEE and only charging for parts or material. The shipping is on the owner .

I’m offering this service on a first come come first serve basis. The reason is that I’ve got my fill of my own guns but love working on them . I’m a certified mechanic and have all the right tools to do most jobs and would treat every gun like it was my own. Send me a PM if there’s something you’d like done to one of your airguns.

I’ve also got quite a collection of cast bullet molds if there’s interest in buying some of those.

Here’s a list of what I have experience with
B18/19 springers and gas ram
Weihrauch springers and gas rams
Weihrauch PCP’s
FX Impact old and new models
Evanix models
Crosman/ Benjamin PCP’s
Diana spring guns
Artemis PP700SA and PP750
Kral puncher models
Hatsan PCP and springers
Hello,

I was wondering if you are still doing this service. I have a detuned Reximex Tormenta in .25 cal that I would like to restore to the original FPS. I bought this gun when I didn't have my PAL, but now that I have received my PAL, I figured it would be easier to retune this gun than to sell it and purchase a new one. Can you help me with this? I'm located in Vancouver.

I have a Diana 50B. 1960s gun. Peep sight, .22 cal. Beautifully chequered stock.
I took it apart in order to change the spring, got caught up in the three ball trigger mecanism and just stopped.
Tweny years ago, I changed the spring on a DiAna 35. Same system, no sweat.
But now...
If you care, I have Hakims, Weirauchs and Airsporters that need attention from a creative person.
Please let me khow if you are interested.
Thank you fot your attention.
I am situated on the south shore of Montreal.
Thank you!

Just trying to help....

You will have to send a private message to Hobbyman2007 in order to ask him, because I would bet he doesn't check this message thread very often and he even asked people to "PM" or private message him.

Just click on his name in the header of a message and a window will open where you will see "Send a private message"
