I don't know about you folk but I'm getting cabin fever over here. A few weeks ago it was so warm I almost grabbed a PCP to go do a sight-in on crown land. I have a new Monstrum Tactical Prism I was eager to put on this thing instead of the west hunter FFP (not recommended unless you like parallax shifting issues) ...
.. but missed my opportunity now we are in a deep freeze!! So it looks like I'm stuck with this for a little while:
The LP400 Single Stroke Pneumatic pistol with the most basic iron sights in the world...
Fairly accurate and very consistent pistol. It shoots wadcutters at about 400 fps. Very quiet and perfect for the basement.
So that's all the shooting I get to do during the deep freeze. What do you guys do?
EDIT: I don't know what the 7.5J on the side of the pistol means, because its certainly not joules. 350-400fps with 7.0gr wadcutters. So nothing to worry about folks. It's just a SSP pistol, less powerful than even the Beeman P17.
What do you guys do to scratch the itch during winter?

You could put that pistol to use and try out the challenge that I posted a while ago here:

Or try some of the online competitions that I shoot in every month here:

I hope that you find something that you enjoy.

I shot 3 groups yesterday with my Walther Cp88c, with my elbow on the arm of my couch.
Two groups single action, last group double action. The result was I shouldn't have waited so many weeks since the last time I shot...
Its inevitable I will pick up the Glock 19 gen 3 BB (non blowback) at some point with an extra mag. One place has them for $99... CTire sells for $169
The U.S. typically sells for $60 usd
