Looking for help with an Umarex Colt Commander
I picked up a Colt Commander from AGS a week or so ago. Reviews seem generally quite good, so I thought I'd pick one up. I have not shot it yet, but am finding that the slide seems to hang up a bit when moving back and on occasion the slide will jam and not move fully back unless I push the slide lock lever in. I'm afraid to shoot it until I get this interference sort out. Has anyone else run into the same problem and if so, what was the solution?

Look up airgun (pistols) on YouTube cleaning and maintenance
Basically you have to disassemble (field strip it) clean factory grease off and reassemble with silicone gear lube
Did this mine and works fantastic
Cheers

The gun's all cleaned and lubed, it just seems like the slide lock lever is interfering with the slide, sometimes bad enough that I can't pull the slide back at all without pushing on the lock lever. I'm suspecting that the lever is bent. AGS isn't responding to my inquiries, so I was hoping someone here had run across the same issue.

Try this remove the magazine and pull the slide back and release
Do this 20-50 times, as it’s brand new probably just needs non firing work over to mate the parts together
I wouldn’t start grinding or sanding anything
I have two I did this on the second one as it had about the same symptoms you are describing
Cheers
